Full List of AMVCA 2026 Nominees Across All Categories:

The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2026 is gearing up to celebrate the very best in African film, television, and digital content. Organised by MultiChoice, the AMVCAs remain one of the continent’s biggest platforms for recognising outstanding storytelling and creative excellence across Africa. The 12th edition of the AMVCAs is scheduled to hold in May 2026 in Lagos, Nigeria. The organisers had earlier announced the appointment of veteran actress Joke Silva as Head Judge, succeeding Femi Odugbemi.

This year’s edition will feature a total of 32 award categories, including 18 jury-voted awards, 11 audience-voted categories, and three special recognition honours, such as the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Trailblazer Award. This year also introduces expanded regional representation with new categories:

• Best Indigenous Language Film – Central Africa
